myAudience-Measure regards people looking at a vehicle as viewers, in other words as visitors with attention. Attention is treated as a face turned toward the vehicle (camera), based on face direction tracking. All deviations within 15 degrees range from the frontal face position are counted as attention. Since attention info is represented in the Reports Portal's database as a number of separate events (attention detected vs. attention lost) bound to particular viewer, it's possible to calculate various useful metrics such as Number Of Visitors And Number Of Viewers, Visibility And Attractiveness.
In other words it's possible to find out how long viewers are looking at the vehicle in average and how many times, what is the total attention time through all viewings, what is the length of the longest uninterrupted viewing, etc. In conjunction with the People Counter feature, Attention Detector allows calculating percentage of those who were actually looking at the vehicle (i.e. vehicle's audience), among those who were just standing near or passing by.
myAudience-Measure recognizes gender of visitors, using characteristic facial features captured with sufficient precision and quality. If gender recognition fails visitor is assigned to the "not classified" category. This feature allows calculating gender-related metrics such as: Attention Time (Gender Breakdown), Dwell Time (Gender Breakdown), Viewer Gender Distribution, Viewers (Gender Breakdown).
myAudience-Measure recognizes age of visitors, using characteristic facial features captured with sufficient precision and quality. myAudience-Measure categorizes visitors by three age groups - "young", "adult" and "senior". If age recognition fails visitor is assigned to the "not classified" category. This feature allows calculating age-related metrics such as: Attention Time (Age Breakdown), Dwell Time (Age Breakdown), Viewer Age Distribution, Viewers (Age Breakdown).
myAudience-Measure counts visitors that appear in front of a vehicle. This is one of the most sophisticated features of myAudience-Measure. Using elaborated people tracker and statistical heuristics it tries to track people even after their temporal disappearance from a camera’s field of view and after partial or complete overlapping with other visitors and/or inanimate obstacles such as pillars, corners etc. To enable Attention Detector feature, People Counter finds faces and associates them with individual visitors. It allows binding demographic characteristics of each visitor (age and gender) with all periods of his/her presence and attention. People Counter is directly and indirectly used for all metrics calculation.
Special Internet web portal that aggregates data from all measuring units all around the globe and provides secure access to this information. Reports Portal allows user to view status of their measuring units and to group/ungroup them for combined metrics calculation. Prior to calculation, Reports Portal allows to setup relevant parameters (e.g. time period, selected demographic characteristics, etc.) and enable comparison mode to weigh the same metric for the same measurng units, but for different time periods (e.g. compare the audience demographic distribution for two-years period). All metrics are visualized by appropriate charts. User can export data used for metrics calculation into the spreadsheet.
Each instance of myAudience-Measure hosts local web-server for system setup using web-interface. Local web-server allows user to adjust configuration of internet access (system will validate this connection before switching to fully-functional mode). Additionally, embedded web-server provides module of camera setup validation (system will give time-restricted access to video stream from camera to manually evaluate quality of image and camera’s field of view).
